明華園最亮麗出色的「當家女主角」

憑著一股對傳統曲的熱愛與堅持加入明華園，因好學不倦的精神、加上扮相清麗可人，身段做工細膩的感情詮釋方式，逐漸散發出迷人的舞台魅力，贏得了一致的肯定。

23歲就擔任當家小旦的重責，多年來在明華園總團詮釋許多經典角色，如「韓湘子」一趕四小旦、青衣、彩旦、武旦秒間變化讓人驚豔，「何仙姑」中的武則天演出女性的霸性以及對情感的柔弱等等都讓專家學者相當讚賞。

近年來，在明華園日團中承擔起許多大女戲的角色，如「女寇息紅淚」的女寨主、「猩猩膽」獸形猩猩女、「陰陽界錯中錯」的三八旦、「巾幗醫家」的女醫、「女仙秦宮鏡」的鏡仙…等等，都能看到她舉手投足間充滿纖細的戲曲舞蹈美感以及對每一個不同個性角色的精準呈現。

雅升老師，站上舞台用「即使沒台詞，隨時保持臉上帶戲」的精神，挑戰每一個角色。雖然已是一線知名演員，對於演出的態度卻是謹慎萬分絲毫不懈怠，總是第一個梳化、總是將劇本讀的嫻熟、總是將演出角色揣摩的淋漓盡致，總是用一百分的水準要求自己，所以我們看的到，不管她演出何種角色都非常豐富而且投入。

Ming Hwa Yuan’s Radiant and Accomplished Leading Actress

Driven by her love for traditional opera and her determination to pursue it, she joined Ming Hwa Yuan. Through her tireless dedication to learning, elegant appearance, refined movements, and nuanced emotional expression, she gradually developed a captivating stage presence that has earned widespread recognition.

At just 23, she took on the demanding responsibility of the company’s principal xiaodan, or young female lead. Over the years, she has portrayed numerous memorable characters with Ming Hwa Yuan’s main company. In Han Xiangzi, she astonished audiences by switching almost instantaneously among four distinct female role types: the young maiden, the dignified woman, the comic woman, and the martial heroine. Her portrayal of Wu Zetian in He Xiangu, capturing both the empress’s commanding authority and her emotional vulnerability, has also won high praise from experts and scholars.

In recent years, she has taken on many major female roles with Ming Hwa Yuan’s Ri Troupe, including the bandit leader in The Bandit Heroine Xi Honglei (《女寇息紅淚》), the ape woman in The Gorilla’s Gallbladder (《猩猩膽》), the vivacious comic woman in A Comedy of Errors Between the Living and the Dead (《陰陽界錯中錯》), the female physician in The Heroine Physician (《巾幗醫家》), and the mirror spirit in The Immortal Maiden and the Qin Palace Mirror (《女仙秦宮鏡》). In every gesture, she reveals the delicate beauty of operatic movement while precisely capturing each character’s distinctive personality.

On stage, Ya-Sheng approaches every role with the conviction that “even without dialogue, the face must always remain expressive and in character.” Although already an established leading performer, she treats every performance with meticulous care and unwavering dedication. She is always the first to begin hair and makeup, knows her scripts thoroughly, and explores every aspect of her characters. Holding herself to the highest standards, she brings richness and complete commitment to every role she performs.
