演出資歷已超過四十年

一九八四年以「濟公活佛」飾演濟公一角，獲全國地方戲劇比賽冠軍，奠定歌仔戲首屈一指代表性的戲劇人物，演出資歷已超過四十年，跨足傳統、現代與影視圈，演而優則導，擅長掌握角色間的情緒轉折，深受觀眾喜愛。

Over Four Decades on Stage

In 1984, Chen’s portrayal of Ji Gong in "Ji Gong, the Living Buddha" helped secure first place in the National Local Theatre Competition, establishing his interpretation as one of Taiwanese opera’s most iconic character portrayals. With a performing career spanning more than four decades, he has worked across traditional theatre, contemporary theatre, film, and television. An accomplished performer who has also turned to directing, he excels at capturing the emotional shifts between characters and remains deeply beloved by audiences.

• 1992年榮獲「傑出藝術薪傳金獅獎」
• 1996年飾演詼諧角色 蕃薯官寇舍風靡街巷，為中視最強檔製作《大巡按蕃薯官》
• 1997年獲青商總會頒發「全球中華文化藝術薪傳獎」
• 2018年榮獲臺北市歌仔戲觀摩匯演—優秀演員獎
• 2020年屏東縣文化資產局登錄歌仔戲傳統表演藝術及認定為保存者
• 2023年榮獲臺北市歌仔戲觀摩匯演—評審特別推薦獎
• 2025年台北市歌仔戲觀摩匯演「最佳演員獎」
• 編導公演作品：《青陽大大爺》、《猩猩膽》、《鬼菩薩》、《張古董租妻》、《鬼偷神判毒蠍女》、《秦大條傳奇》、《天子翻江龍》、《陰陽界錯中錯》、《血柳悲秋》等。
